ABOUT US

Growing Awareness, Inc. is a nonprofit foundation established in 2019 by a group of special educators who work specifically with children on the Autism spectrum. Our initial idea was to build a sensory friendly play area at a local community park in order to better meet the needs of kids with diverse abilities. This initial idea turned into something much larger! We thought long and hard and wanted to create a foundation to hold events in the community, increase awareness and raise money to help provide services, specialized products, etc… to local children and adults with disabilities.

The name, Growing Awareness, Inc. was created in order to reach out to all individuals with diverse abilities and needs.
